Core Ingredients

  • 1.5 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 0.5 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1.5 lb green beans (1-inch pieces)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 sweet potato cut into chunks
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 lemon

  • cilantro

Instructions

  1. Turn instant pot to saute mode and heat oil.
  2. Add cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle.
  3. Add turmeric and mix well.
  4. Add green beans, salt & mix well.
  5. And water and mix well.
  6. Add sweet potato, layer over red chili powder, coriander and DO NOT MIX.
  7. Pressure cook for 1 min, followed by quick release.
  8. Add lemon juice.
