Core Ingredients

  • 1 lb jalapeno
  • 1 serrano
  • 12 garlic cloves
  • 0.25 cup neutral oil
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • salt

  • cilantro

Instructions

  1. Place jalapenos, serrano and garlic on a baking sheet and bake for ~10 minutes at 425.
  2. Flip the peppers and remove the garlic.
  3. Put the garlic in a closed container.
  4. After 10 more minutes remove the peppers and put them in the same container.
  5. Blend everything together with the neutral oil, lime juice and a pinch of salt.

  • Salsa is best after a day of rest, once the flavors have had time to calm down and meld together.
